Homemade nourishing creams are easy and very simple to make.  The ingredients are harmless and natural.  It costs a fraction of what you would pay in the market.  You also know exactly what goes into the product you make.  Since homemade nourishing creams do not contains any preservatives, it's better to produce in small quantities and store it in the fridge to avoid waste.

Some people have allergies to certain essential oils and some natural products.  Stop their use at once, should you notice any adverse effects.  One advantage in DIY homemade nourishing creams is that you can adjust the ingredients according to your skin needs by trial and error.

Dry skin has a burnt look caused by its lack of ability to retain moisture.  Dry skin is prone to wrinkles and chapping.  It is often a larger problem in cold weather than in warm weather.  During the day, your skin loses moisture and natural oils.  Nourishing creams soften the skin and keep it radiant.

Here is the recipe for natural homemade skin nourishing cream.

Ingredients

  • Beeswax — 1 Tablespoon
  • Sesame Oil — 4 Tablespoons
  • Almond Oil — 1 Tablespoon
  • Coco mutter — 2 Tablespoons
  • Emulsifying Wax (Petroleum Wax) — 2 Tablespoons

Process

All the above ingredients are taken into a bowl and heated in water bath until they melt.  Stir the mixture thoroughly.  Heating is stopped and perfume can be added if required.  Continual stirrng is required until the mixture cools down.  If the cream has to be applied on oily skin, 2 tablespoons of rosewater or ordinary water can be added.

Application

Massage the cream evenly over the face and neck and leave it on for about an hour before removing with cotton dipped in warm water.

Vitamin E in the nourishing cream stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which prevents age spots, dull patches wrinkles and stretch marks.
