Forum Thread: Pet XP gain?

I was wondering how do pets gain they XP? I noticed it is not based off of the way the character gains his xp. i have randomly taken notes of the xp gain my Yamaru gets, and i just can't figure it out.

Any ideas?

wow does he really gets 20% of my xp? thats sad

it dont gets your XP, it gain 20% of your earned XP without affecting your XP
