One freezing morning I've tried a little harder to unlock my VW Polo 1.0, year 1999, and heard something broke (or a similar sound) on the driver's door. Since then the lock was spinning freely but still working. About a week later I was unable to lock the car on that side. No problems on the passenger door.
I susspect a Broken spring or solenoid, but I'm not 100% sure. Any ideas on both diagnosing and repair will be apreciated.
