How To: Draw Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh

Draw Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh

The user demonstrates how to draw Disney's Eeyore in this video. The first step is to draw a circle about the size of a 50 cent piece for his head and add construction lines to it, including one across the lower part of the circle to use as a reference. The user also suggests creating a mark below the "head" to mark where the end of Eeyore's jaw will be. Then, starting at the bottom cross line, he begins drawing the rounded area of his snout. Next, he draws a straight line from the other side of the circle straight down to connect with the rounded area. Once completed, the user draws his eyes starting directly above the reference line. Then, he draws another line down the center of Eeyore's nose for his "stitch" line and a curved line perpendicular to the other line for the color separation. The user continues to add facial details as he sees fit paying close attention to his eyebrows and ears. To draw Eeyore's body, the artist counts three 50 cent pieces down from his head and makes another reference mark. He then makes two rough sketches from his head down to the mark both for his back and stomach. Next, he draws Eeyore's front and back legs using a kind of rough "L" shape on either side of his body. The video ends with the artist adding Eeyore's tail, mane, and eyes and a quick montage of the artist darkening, shading, and completing the drawing.
